Ecole des Trois Ponts
Since 1991, the team of professionals at the Ecole des Trois Ponts has been offering courses to individuals and groups in French Language immersion, French and Cooking, French and Gastronomy, Cooking and Gastronomy and Wine and Gastronomy. We specialize in an authentic immersion experience for those who would like to experience French life and culture in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Guests from around the world stay at the Château de Matel, an 18th century château situated on 13 hectares of parkland.
All week-long programs at the Ecole des Trois Ponts include meals from Sunday dinner to Saturday breakfast. Leisure activities include a swimming pool, game room, and bicycle rental.
During select weeks in 2008 we will be offering the Cooking and Gastronomy Tour in English. This unique program, once offered exclusively to groups, is now open to individuals. The itinerary features 4 half-days of hands-on cooking in our demonstration kitchen. Visits to local markets, vineyards, oil-pressing workshops and a chocolate/pastry shop round out the week-long program. All meals are included, including a gourmet lunch at a gastronomic restaurant and a wine-tasting class. We also will be offering a Wine and Gastronomy Tour in English which features day trips to Burgundy, Beaujolais and the Cotes Roannaise vineyards, in addition to tastings and classes at the Château de Matel.
